Maintenance Superintendent

About the role

JBS Dinmore is looking for a people-focused Maintenance Superintendent to join its team on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the role oversees day-to-day maintenance operations of the site and leads a highly skilled team of maintenance professionals. It plays a key part in keeping plant equipment reliable, available and performing well, supporting production through maintenance planning, fault finding, repairs and continuous improvement.

You will work closely with the Plant Engineer to coordinate maintenance resources, respond to equipment breakdowns, minimise downtime and find ways to improve plant reliability. The role suits an experienced maintenance leader who wants to develop people and drive operational performance in a large food manufacturing operation.

Required profile

• Established and experienced trades background, either mechanical or electrical
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Strong organisational and planning skills
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build effective professional relationships with production departments
• Strong attention to detail

Required skills

• Efficiency with computers and MS Office packages
• Mechanical or electrical trades experience
