About the role

Abano Healthcare is seeking a friendly, confident and customer‑focused Contact Centre Representative to join its Brisbane Support Office. This role is the first point of contact for patients and dental practices, using dental knowledge and strong communication skills to deliver professional support.

Key responsibilities

• Manage patient inquiries, appointments and records via phone, email and online platforms.
• Assist with insurance queries, payment options and general service information.
• Coordinate with dental staff to ensure clear communication and quality care.
• Address patient complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy.

Required profile

• Previous experience working in a dental practice (essential).
• Experience in a call‑centre environment is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional, friendly manner.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment handling multiple communication channels.

Required skills

• Good computer literacy, including managing scheduling software and databases.
• Ability to use multiple communication channels (phone, email, online platforms) effectively.
