Consultant – Recoveries (Remote, 12‑month term)

About the role

As a Consultant – Recoveries you will support IAG’s Recoveries business, working primarily by phone to negotiate outcomes and resolve issues for customers, suppliers and other stakeholders. The role is largely remote with a brief initial training period on‑site and a monthly office visit for collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with external suppliers, providing guidance and issue resolution.
• Manage recoveries end‑to‑end, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Prioritise workload effectively and collaborate with the team to meet shared objectives.
• Meet performance targets and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, risk frameworks, policies and procedures.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives that enhance customer, compliance and commercial results.

Required profile

• Experience in a customer‑facing role; insurance experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with a confident, personable approach.
• Self‑motivated team player who thrives in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
• Analytical mindset with solid numerical reasoning and commercial acumen.
• Solutions‑focused, adaptable and comfortable navigating change and ambiguity.
• Empathetic and professional when supporting customers through challenging situations.
