Construction Superintendent - Bluesky Project

About the role

The Construction Superintendent (Manager) provides overall construction leadership, governance and assurance for safe, predictable and efficient field execution on the Bluesky project at Kwinana Energy Hub. The role covers leadership and coordination of the construction function, contractor assurance and field delivery support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide visible construction leadership and HSSE governance and self-verification
• Lead contract performance and delivery of critical site construction services
• Ensure robust construction execution readiness, contractor assurance and field delivery support
• Champion HSSE across all construction activities in line with BP standards
• Develop and lead the construction execution strategy through all stages of the project lifecycle
• Provide construction input during front-end loading, constructability, construction feasibility and assurance reviews
• Maintain accountability for the Construction Execution Plan and lead construction input into the Project Execution Plan
• Manage interfaces with Operations, Maintenance and contractors for safe and efficient SIMOPS execution
• Drive continuous improvement in construction execution, contractor performance and field productivity
• Monitor contractor safety, quality, cost and schedule performance against contractual requirements
• Establish a disciplined self-verification and oversight process for construction readiness, quality and compliance
