Construction Project Manager – Wind Farm

About the role

Based in Adelaide, this permanent position leads the delivery of a flagship utility‑scale wind farm from final development through construction, commissioning and handover. Reporting to the Project Director, you will act on behalf of the owner/developer to ensure safety, quality, commercial and stakeholder objectives are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the project team in delivering wind turbines, civil and electrical infrastructure while managing safety, schedule, cost and quality targets.
• Oversee commissioning, testing, energisation and seamless handover to the asset management team.
• Serve as the primary interface for contractors, consultants, Owners' Engineers and network service providers, handling contracts, variations and claims.
• Maintain project registers, reporting tools and risk registers, identifying and mitigating project risks.
• Champion HSEQ compliance and manage relationships with landowners, communities and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Electrical preferred; Civil or Mechanical also considered).
• 5–10+ years experience in construction, infrastructure, renewable energy or power generation projects.
• Proven track record managing contractors, consultants and major project stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of project delivery, contract administration, construction management and project controls.
• Demonstrated commitment to health, safety and environmental performance.
