Construction Project Manager

About the role

Rendine Constructions is looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead commercial projects across Geelong, Melbourne and Ballarat. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for planning, budgeting, scheduling and ensuring safe, on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee project planning, budgeting, cash‑flow forecasting and profit‑and‑loss reporting.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site supervisors through regular construction meetings and updated programmes.
• Negotiate sub‑contract and supply agreements and manage stakeholder relationships, including clients, consultants and building surveyors.
• Ensure compliance with Victorian building regulations, ISO management systems and HSEQ policies.
• Administer project documentation, invoicing approvals, shop‑drawing approvals and project archiving.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering or a relevant trade qualification.
• Minimum 5 years’ leadership experience in the construction industry.
• Victorian Driver’s Licence, White/Red Card and First Aid/CPR certifications.
• Knowledge of Victorian Building Regulations, OH&S legislation and Security of Payment legislation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Microsoft Project.
• Experience using construction project management systems such as Job Pac, Cheops or Vista.
