Construction Project Manager – Adelaide

About the role

Hindmarsh is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead a challenging new construction project in Adelaide. You will be accountable for delivering the project on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver assigned projects on schedule, on budget, and to specified quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Establish and monitor detailed project KPIs, milestones, and commercial goals.
• Lead the integrated delivery team, coordinating site, design, commercial, and administrative functions.
• Act as the final authority on all project communications and documentation for clients and stakeholders.
• Develop accurate project cash‑flow forecasts and proactively manage revenue and expenditure.
• Promote commercial awareness across the team, linking site actions to financial performance.
• Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring clean, compliant, and safety‑focused on‑site environments.

Required profile

• 10+ years’ experience in Tier 1 or Tier 2 commercial construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or equivalent.
• Proven track record delivering projects valued over $20 million.
• Strong knowledge of Australian construction standards, codes, and legislative requirements.

Required skills

• General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
• Advanced use of construction software such as MS Project and Aconex.
