Construction Manager – Data Centre Project

About the role

CPB Contractors is seeking a Construction Manager to lead the delivery of a major data centre project that will support Australia’s growing digital infrastructure. You will be on‑site, coordinating multiple work fronts, managing subcontractors, and ensuring the project stays on schedule, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own the successful delivery of the CSA scope across several work fronts.
• Collaborate closely with the Project Director, Project Manager and leadership team to maintain momentum and manage risks.
• Coordinate subcontractors, oversee daily operations, and resolve issues promptly.
• Drive performance, accountability, and continuous improvement on site.
• Proactively address challenges that could impact programme, safety, quality or productivity.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large‑scale building, infrastructure or mission‑critical projects.
• Strong background in CSA delivery covering concrete, structural and architectural works.
• Track record of achieving programme, quality, safety and commercial outcomes.
• Ability to lead, influence and motivate subcontractors, supervisors and project teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
