Compliance Specialist

About the role

Team Global Express is looking for a Compliance Specialist to join its Network Operations Centre. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, South East, you will oversee the engagement, onboarding and ongoing compliance of subcontractor delivery partners, ensuring they meet operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage onboarding, pre‑qualification and compliance requirements of subcontractor delivery partners.
• Maintain accurate records of contracts, insurances, accreditations and related documentation.
• Monitor subcontractor compliance via the TGE Contracts Portal and Safety Culture platform.
• Provide advice and guidance on compliance requirements to owner‑drivers, fleet operators and subcontractor representatives.
• Generate reports and analyse compliance and performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Support audits, investigations and remediation activities related to compliance and operational performance.
• Coordinate contractor inductions and ensure completion of all mandatory requirements.
• Build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders including Operations, Procurement, Legal, HSE and Finance teams.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement projects focused on service, cost, compliance and contractor performance.

Required profile

• Experience in transport, compliance, contracts administration or a related field.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with the ability to engage a variety of stakeholders.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of documentation and data accurately.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Ability to work autonomously, prioritise competing tasks and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced).
