Compliance Manager – Insurance & Financial Services

About the role

Marsh Pacific is seeking a Compliance Manager to strengthen its compliance culture across insurance broking, investments and other regulatory matters. The role is hybrid, based in Sydney or Melbourne, and works closely with senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide compliance advisory support across insurance broking, investments and regulatory matters.
• Develop and improve compliance frameworks, policies and processes.
• Maintain the obligations library and manage Line 2 obligations.
• Establish monitoring activities to assess compliance with policies and regulations.
• Support licensing requirements, conflicts management, compliance plan reviews and training.

Required profile

• Experience in a compliance, legal or regulatory role within Australian financial services.
• Background in insurance broking or insurance, with some exposure to investments.
• Ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements practically.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of regulatory and code obligations relating to insurance broking.
• Experience influencing change within a large organisation.
