Compliance and Audit Administrator

About the role

The Compliance and Audit Administrator supports the Audit Lead in delivering, maintaining and improving the Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) compliance and audit framework within Transport Certification Australia (TCA), part of Austroads. The position is based at the Austroads Sydney office, is full-time (1.0 FTE) and reports to the Audit Lead.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate, timely administrative support for the audit and assurance program, including its framework, guidelines, procedures and processes
• Draw on multiple sources of data and information to produce reports
• Answer simple audit and compliance queries from stakeholders, referring complex ones to the Audit Lead
• Oversee and coordinate Approved Training Provider applications and contract variations
• Maintain audit and compliance documentation and enter and maintain data in the TTM Registry
• Assist with audit preparation, including audit schedules, and maintain minutes, agendas and mailing lists as required
• Carry out and analyse surveys, such as phone surveys, and contribute to continuous improvement
• Follow Quality Systems processes and perform other duties as directed

Required profile

• At least two years of experience with a compliance focus in a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) environment
• Demonstrated understanding of NVR standards and regulatory requirements in the VET sector
• Previous experience supporting and taking part in audits is highly desirable
• Professional image, strong problem-solving and teamwork skills, ethical behaviour and comfort in a constantly evolving environment

• Understanding of the VET environment, VET quality framework and Standards for NVR Registered Training Organisations
