Compassionate Care Partner (Aged & Community Support)

About the role

A casual position providing in-home support to elderly clients so they can stay safe, independent and connected in their community. The work covers the Inner West, Sydney City, Eastern and Northern Sydney, Nepean and Sutherland Region. Multilingual applicants are strongly encouraged, especially those who speak Mandarin, Cantonese, Italian, Filipino, Greek, Spanish or other community languages.

Key responsibilities

• Help clients live independently at home
• Provide companionship and social support
• Assist with transport, shopping and community activities
• Deliver personal care with dignity and respect
• Support light household tasks and meal preparation

Required profile

• Casual position, Monday to Friday shifts (approx. 7:00am–3:00pm), minimum availability of 3 weekdays
• Kind, empathetic and compassionate nature (essential)
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Certificate III or IV in Community Services, Aged Care or Disability (highly regarded); nursing students encouraged to apply
• Previous aged care or community experience preferred
• Strong communication and people skills
• Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• Current (or willingness to obtain) First Aid & CPR certification, Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check
