Community Support Worker – Woolloomooloo

About the role

Quality Health Care is seeking an empathetic and reliable Community Support Worker to provide consistent, person-centred support to a client living independently in Woolloomooloo who is facing alcohol addiction and lives alone. The role offers steady support across daily living and community activities, helping the client maintain independence and connection.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care and domestic assistance
• Support community access and social engagement
• Build rapport and provide companionship
• Encourage healthy routines and independent living skills
• Support the client with dignity, respect and an open mind

Required profile

• Experience supporting clients with addiction, mental health or complex needs
• Empathy, patience and the ability to build trust and consistency
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Flexibility to cover a variety of shifts once the roster is established
• Unrestricted driver's licence preferred
• NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working With Children Check and a valid First Aid and CPR certificate
