Community Manager (Hybrid, Sydney)

About the role

As a Community Manager on Cover Genius' Marketing team, you will be the voice and heartbeat of the brand across digital channels. You will shape community strategy, optimise platform presence and act as the bridge between Marketing, Customer Success and Talent teams. The role is hybrid, with office days on Monday, Tuesday and Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day publishing and brand voice on LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram and Glassdoor.
• Monitor and engage comments, mentions and direct messages to foster active, brand‑aligned conversations.
• Provide first‑line support for customer inquiries on social channels and coordinate escalations with Customer Success.
• Audit and update peer‑review profiles on Reddit, TrustRadius and G2 to keep branding and messaging consistent.
• Execute data‑driven audience‑growth strategies and report monthly on community metrics, sentiment and response times.
• Manage Glassdoor presence and collaborate with Talent on recruitment‑marketing content and employee advocacy.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of community management or social media marketing experience, preferably in B2B tech, SaaS or InsurTech/FinTech.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with Customer Success and Talent teams.
• Willingness to commute to the Sydney office for hybrid work.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Facebook and Instagram.
• Familiarity with Reddit, G2 and TrustRadius community platforms.
• Proficiency in social media management and listening tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite and HubSpot.
