About the role
The Community Engagement Officer will join Probus South Pacific’s Community Engagement Team in Parramatta, NSW. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on expanding the Probus network, supporting existing clubs, and fostering strong relationships with members and local representatives.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate the cost‑effective formation of new Probus Clubs, ensuring adherence to processes, timelines and budgets.
- Develop and implement membership growth plans for existing clubs, identifying those needing assistance and delivering tailored presentations.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with local membership teams and club representatives.
- Manage member enquiries, respond to feedback, and compile data to support strategic decision‑making.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience in administrative or project coordination roles.
- Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
- Excellent customer service and engagement skills, with the capacity to build rapport across all stakeholder levels.
- Clear oral and written communication, able to convey complex information concisely.
- Proven problem‑solving capability in a dynamic, member‑focused environment.
- Analytical aptitude, particularly for statistical reporting.
- Australian citizenship with full working rights.
