Community & Centre Manager

About the role

United Co. is launching a new flexible workspace at 459 Little Collins Street in Melbourne’s CBD. As the Community & Centre Manager you will be the face of the centre, overseeing daily operations, leading a small onsite team and ensuring an inspiring environment for members.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily centre operations to deliver a seamless member experience.
• Build strong relationships with members and foster an engaged community.
• Manage reception, customer service, housekeeping and on‑site team coaching.
• Oversee building maintenance, cleaning, contractor activity and conduct regular inspections.
• Conduct tours, sell memberships and work with the sales team to maximise occupancy.
• Handle member onboarding, renewals, off‑boarding and account administration.
• Coordinate meeting room bookings, events and community engagement activities.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a customer‑facing leadership role within coworking, hospitality, property or similar service‑driven environments.
• Natural community‑builder who is approachable, organised and calm under pressure.
• Strong operational instincts with attention to detail and presentation standards.
• Confidence in leading and coaching a small team.
• Ability to balance relationship‑building with sales targets and KPIs.
• Genuine care for people and the workspace you manage.

What we offer

• Salary $80,000 per year plus superannuation.
