About the role

The team at A'Beckett Street in Melbourne is seeking enthusiastic Community Assistants on a casual basis to support a thriving student accommodation community. As a live‑in member you will help shape an exceptional resident experience and foster a positive, inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the leasing and property management team with administrative and customer service tasks, including resident communication, document preparation, and payment coordination.
• Assist with leasing activities such as responding to enquiries, conducting virtual and in‑person tours, and guiding prospective residents through the application process.
• Coordinate move‑in and move‑out processes to ensure a smooth resident experience.
• Contribute to marketing and community engagement by supporting on‑campus outreach and promoting events.
• Help plan and deliver resident events and programs to build a vibrant, connected community.
• Act as a friendly, reliable point of contact for residents, responding promptly to questions, concerns, and after‑hours issues when on call.

• Live‑in, active, and approachable member of the community, able to support residents with guidance and a positive presence.
• Strong communication skills across face‑to‑face, phone, and online channels.
