Communications Manager

About the role

Hewitt is seeking a Communications Manager to shape and share the company’s story across customers, employees, and industry stakeholders. This newly created position will act as the voice of a vertically integrated business, linking teams, international customers, and the Australian rural community.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver Hewitt’s strategic narrative, translating the paddock‑to‑plate model into clear communications.
• Align global and local messaging to keep teams across markets connected to culture, purpose, and strategy.
• Lead internal communications and employee engagement initiatives.
• Drive brand, sustainability, and corporate storytelling, highlighting leadership in regenerative agriculture and animal welfare.
• Support executive communications, corporate reputation management, issues management, and social media.

Required profile

• Strategic and confident communicator able to transform complex information into compelling stories.
• Commercially minded with understanding of premium branding and reputation building.
• Thrives in a fast‑paced, global environment and works effectively with senior leaders.
• Passionate about purposeful storytelling for an Australian food company expanding globally.

Required skills

• Exceptional communication and writing abilities across multiple audiences and platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management and confidence working with executive leaders.
• Globally minded approach with ability to engage across cultures and international markets.
• Relevant qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related discipline.
