Communications & Engagement Partner – Enterprise Agreement

About the role
We are seeking a Communications & Engagement Partner to lead the communications and stakeholder engagement strategy for TasNetworks' upcoming Enterprise Agreement. This high‑impact, hands‑on position will shape the narrative, develop clear messaging, and deliver materials that support transparent and meaningful engagement throughout the negotiation process.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement an end‑to‑end communications and engagement program for the Enterprise Agreement negotiations.
- Create engagement opportunities that foster open, transparent, and constructive conversations.
- Partner with senior leaders, subject‑matter experts, and key stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging across the organisation.
- Produce timely communications—including emails, articles, presentations, FAQs, and leader updates—throughout each negotiation stage.
- Develop and design professional documents, presentations, posters, and campaign materials using Microsoft 365, Canva, and similar tools.
- Manage internal email campaigns via platforms such as Campaign Monitor.
- Write scripts, speaking points, and produce video content for internal distribution.
- Translate complex industrial, technical, and business information into clear, engaging communications.
- Build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including employee representatives and industry partners.
Required profile
- Experienced communications professional with a strategic mindset and hands‑on delivery capability.
- Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and manage competing priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across a range of formats.
- Tertiary qualification in Communications, Public Relations, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
Required skills
- Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Canva or similar design platforms
- Campaign Monitor or comparable email‑campaign tools
- Video filming and editing software
What we offer
- Band 5 base salary starting from $125,837 AUD per annum (plus super), with a total package negotiated based on skills and experience.
