Communications & Content Coordinator

About the role

Netball NSW is seeking a Communications & Content Coordinator to craft compelling stories that connect the netball community across New South Wales. You will work closely with the GM Audience & Growth to bring the Netball NSW, NSW Swifts and GIANTS Netball brands to life through a range of media channels.

Key responsibilities

• Create written content that celebrates people, moments and the impact of netball, including website articles, feature stories, media releases and newsletters.
• Identify and develop storytelling opportunities across community, pathway and elite programs.
• Support media relations by drafting releases, coordinating interviews, pitching stories to local outlets and monitoring coverage.
• Manage and maintain digital content across the organisation’s website, email platforms, social media and other digital channels.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent brand messaging.
• Assist with campaign planning and execution to grow audience engagement.

Required profile

• Passion for storytelling, sport and community engagement.
• Excellent written communication and editorial skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with media and community stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
