Communications and Design Senior Consultant - People Consulting

About the role

EY's People Consulting team helps organisations deliver change through creative communications that drive engagement, adoption and behaviour change. This is a communications-led role with a creative mindset, working on clients' highest-profile transformation programs. It is a hybrid position based in Sydney, and roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the communications workstream on transformation programs, planning, writing and delivering content that drives adoption
• Design campaigns and write for a range of audiences and formats, making the complex simple and engaging
• Apply a user experience mindset to change communications, shaping the journey, not just the assets
• Brief and guide designers, videographers and other creative specialists, maintaining quality and consistency
• Translate complex change objectives into clear messages and creative experiences
• Tailor content to client brand style, tone of voice and campaign goals
• Work directly with client stakeholders and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams

Required profile

• Marketing, communications, creative agency or consulting background
• Excellent writing skills across executive, people-leader and end-user audiences
• Ability to develop campaign concepts and turn them into actionable briefs for designers, videographers or production teams
• Comfortable working within established client brands and visual identities
• Confident presenting ideas to stakeholders

Required skills

• Strong eye for design; ideally working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign and Illustrator
• Nice to have: motion graphics, video editing or multimedia content creation (Premiere Pro or After Effects)
• Nice to have: knowledge of behavioural insight or change methodologies, and experience on technology adoption programs such as Microsoft 365 or Copilot rollouts
