Commis Chef

About the role

Cable Beach House is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Commis Chef. Kimberley Accommodation Group is a professional group built on a family tradition of commitment to guest satisfaction, offering accommodation and hospitality in Broome, Halls Creek, Wyndham and Kununurra.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a full range of meals to a high standard.
• Work with the kitchen team to deliver excellent product quality, flavour and presentation.
• Help prepare menus within budgeted food and labour costs, with a focus on variety and nutrition.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels to reduce wastage.
• Keep the kitchen clean to the highest standards.

Required profile

• Diploma in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Hard-working, reliable with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a team, with excellent communication skills.
• Flexible with shifts, including a 7-day rotating roster covering weekends and evenings.
• Right to live and work in Australia; applicants must include a cover letter stating their availability to relocate.
