Commercial Manager

About the role

ACCIONA delivers major transport, water and social infrastructure projects across Victoria, including rail, road and building programmes. This Commercial Manager role sits across the project portfolio, providing commercial oversight and support to project teams. Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, you will guide the commercial and contracts administration function, optimise margin while managing commercial risk and opportunity, and work closely with Project Managers within the Project Management Team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage cost, value and contract deliverables across projects
• Administer Head Contracts with best-practice governance
• Identify and mitigate commercial and supply chain risks
• Build and manage senior stakeholder relationships
• Develop procurement strategies that maximise value for money
• Negotiate contract terms and resolve commercial disputes
• Coach and mentor commercial and project personnel

Required profile

• Degree in Commerce, Finance, Law or a related field
• Proven experience in commercial and contract management
• Strong track record negotiating major contracts

Required skills

• Sound understanding of risk, procurement and financial analysis
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
