Commercial Litigation Lawyer – Associate to Senior Associate

About the role

We are partnering with leading law firms in Brisbane and the Gold Coast to recruit experienced litigation lawyers at associate, senior associate and partner levels. The role involves handling a broad range of commercial disputes and providing strategic advice to sophisticated clients across multiple sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage commercial and contractual disputes, including shareholder, partnership and insolvency matters.
• Conduct property, leasing, construction and employment dispute matters.
• Lead professional negligence, regulatory investigations and other business‑related litigation.
• Participate in alternative dispute resolution, mediations and negotiations.
• Appear in court across various jurisdictions and represent clients effectively.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, mentor junior lawyers and contribute to business development.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in litigation and dispute resolution.
• Strong drafting, advocacy and communication abilities.
• Commercially focused problem‑solving and client‑relationship management.
• Collaborative, team‑oriented approach with the capacity to work autonomously.
• Current Queensland Practising Certificate (or eligibility to obtain one).
