Commercial & Legal Professional – Expressions of Interest

About the role

AusNet is seeking experienced commercial and/or legal professionals to support a major infrastructure project in Victoria. This is an expression of interest for individuals who can apply sound judgement, manage risk and provide practical advice in a fast‑moving, multi‑stakeholder environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide commercial and legal guidance across project development and delivery.
• Support contract administration, negotiations, claims, variations and dispute resolution.
• Manage documentation, reporting and governance requirements.
• Collaborate with delivery teams, partners, external advisors and suppliers.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Law, Commerce, Business, Finance, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial, legal or contract management roles within project‑based environments.
• Experience supporting major infrastructure, energy, utilities or construction projects.
• Strong understanding of contracts, commercial frameworks and risk management.
