Commercial Finance Analyst

About the role

Join Saputo Dairy Australia as a Commercial Finance Analyst within the FP&A team at Freshwater Place. You will combine accurate commercial reporting with analysis, curiosity and business partnering to turn data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily and weekly sales reports for Foodservices and Route channels.
• Consolidate weekly Commercial P&L reporting and provide clear commentary.
• Complete month‑end reconciliations, journals and profitability reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and division‑wide management reporting.
• Analyse customer profitability, purchase price variance, freight and inventory.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance or Accounting, plus CA or CPA.
• At least three years’ relevant experience in FMCG, manufacturing, dairy or a complex commercial environment.
• Strong analytical mindset, commercial acumen and high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel capability, including building and interpreting financial models.
• Experience with BI reporting tools.
• Exposure to SAP (advantageous but not essential).
