Commercial Contracts Manager

About the role

Axiom is seeking an experienced Commercial Contracts Manager to support a leading telecommunications provider. The role focuses on preparing, reviewing, and negotiating customer agreements while providing practical commercial and contractual guidance to stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate customer contracts, including standard and bespoke agreements, variations, promotional letters, notices, novations, settlements and terminations.
• Ensure contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Provide first‑level contractual and commercial guidance to the wholesale business and escalate legal issues when needed.
• Identify and manage operational, legal, financial and credit risks in customer agreements.
• Collaborate with regulatory colleagues on compliance matters and maintain contract governance processes.

Required profile

• Significant experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and managing legal risk.
• Background in private practice or in‑house legal counsel is highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail, communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and exercise commercial judgement.
