Commercial Bid Support Officer

About the role

Sodexo is seeking a Commercial Bid Support Officer to join its Balcatta Support Centre. In this position you will help develop winning bids by preparing accurate cost estimates, analysing commercial data and working closely with technical, operational and commercial teams. The role is ideal for a recent graduate or early‑career professional with strong analytical abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop precise cost estimates for bids, tenders and proposals.
• Analyse historical data, supplier quotes and internal inputs to validate assumptions.
• Build, maintain and optimise complex Excel models for pricing and scenario analysis.
• Collaborate with bid managers, sales teams and subject‑matter experts to gather commercial and technical information.
• Support continuous improvement of estimating tools, processes and templates.
• Assist with risk assessments and commercial evaluations during bid development.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience post‑university or a recent graduate.
• Curious, analytical mindset with a willingness to challenge assumptions.
• High work ethic, reliable and able to meet deadlines.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within a global organisation.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel – complex spreadsheets, formulas, pivot tables, data analysis and visualisation.
