Commercial Analyst – Supply Chain

About the role

The Commercial Analyst – Supply Chain will partner with the Supply Chain function to provide financial insight, improve cost visibility and support decision‑making across the 7‑Eleven network in Australia. You will help manage logistics costs, build forecasts and identify optimisation opportunities during a key transition period.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile logistics costs against budget and supplier invoices; develop forward‑looking supply chain budgets.
• Partner with incumbent and incoming Logistics Service Providers to manage transition activities and implement new KPI reporting.
• Enhance cost‑to‑serve models, create dashboards and prepare detailed costings for new product launches.
• Analyse delivery routes, truck utilisation and load efficiency to recommend optimisation measures.
• Manage P&L activities, accruals, journals and deliver monthly performance reporting and presentations.

Required profile

• Accounting or commercial background with interest in supply chain.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, uncertain environment and collaborating across functions.
• Strong analytical, communication and influencing skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in accounting, inventory and supply‑chain finance.
• Experience with Power BI (modelling advantageous).
• Familiarity with SAP (beneficial but not essential).
