Cold Stores Labourer

About the role

JBS Australia is recruiting experienced Cold Stores Labourers to join its Townsville processing facility, located 12 km south of Townsville. The facility is JBS Australia's most northern operation, employing about 430 people and processing around 900 head per day. The position is full-time.

Required profile

• Current forklift licence (advantageous but not mandatory)
• Previous experience with manual handling, container loading and unloading, cold storage and warehousing
• Previous experience in a temperature-controlled environment (chiller/freezer)
• Previous experience with order picking and palletising advantageous
• Previous experience with RF scanning advantageous
• Willingness to work in a well-developed team environment, from general labouring to highly skilled key positions
• Willingness to undergo a Q Fever vaccination
• Reliable transport to get safely to and from work
