About the role
A family-run team servicing residential and commercial stone projects across Canberra is looking for a CNC Bridge Saw Operator in Fyshwick, ACT. The work takes place in the factory, where CNC bridge saws are used to cut stone.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC bridge saw machines to benchtop specifications
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately
- Fabricate benchtop parts with precision and accuracy
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments
- Inspect finished products for defects
- Care for routine maintenance and cleaning of machines
- Carry out general factory duties
Required profile
- Stonemasonry trade qualification or industry experience
- CNC bridge saw operation experience
- Current working rights in Australia
Required skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to read plans and measurements
