- Recruit, coordinate and support a pool of casual trainers and assessors, and coordinate courses and other training activities.
- Support co-delivery and development opportunities for probationary trainers and assessors, and maintain oversight of training activity, availability and progress.
- Gather feedback from clubs, participants, trainers and assessors to improve future support.
- Design and run a pilot training administration support service, establish clear processes and service expectations, and evaluate it with recommendations for future delivery.
- Lead and support the Club Capability Administration Officer in providing course and skills-maintenance administration, and attend club, branch and SLSNSW meetings as required.
Required profile
- Demonstrated experience coordinating training, education or capability-building initiatives.
- Experience working with volunteers, community organisations or stakeholder groups with differing needs.
- Experience coordinating or supporting trainers, facilitators, assessors or a casual workforce.
- Experience in Surf Life Saving, a volunteer-led organisation, or the broader sport, emergency-service or community sector is highly regarded.
- Knowledge of vocational education and training, a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or experience designing and evaluating a pilot or new support service is advantageous.
- Availability for some evening and weekend work, and a current driver's licence.
Required skills
- Strong organisational skills and good digital literacy, including Microsoft Office and online systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
What we offer
- Opportunity to work directly with clubs and volunteers across NSW.
- Continued learning and development opportunities.
- Onsite parking at headquarters, Fitness Passport discounts and employee assistance program support.
- Salary packaging benefits and modern facilities with staff amenities.
