Cloud Engineer

About the role

Join MEGT’s IT Operations team to design, implement and maintain secure, reliable solutions across Azure and Microsoft 365, balancing technical projects with day‑to‑day service stability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and support Azure cloud, Microsoft 365, security and infrastructure services.
• Deliver infrastructure projects, cloud migrations and business integrations, including networking, identity and on‑premises support.
• Monitor and optimise cloud performance, resource usage and costs, using PowerShell and automation.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide guidance to colleagues and business teams.
• Prepare and present infrastructure changes through the Change Advisory Board and collaborate with IT, business teams and vendors.

Required profile

• Customer‑focused, proactive and able to take ownership of work.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships across the business.
• Experience delivering technical projects from planning through to completion.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Knowledge of Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Understanding of Windows Server, enterprise networking and identity management.
• Practical PowerShell scripting skills.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, vulnerability management, ISO 27001 and Right Fit For Risk compliance.
