Cloud Engineer / Azure DevOps Engineer

About the role

Renaissance InfoSystem is recruiting an experienced Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in Azure, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps practices. The role focuses on designing, building, automating, deploying and managing secure and scalable Azure workloads while following enterprise architecture standards, and supports the delivery of cloud solutions for the Investment, Wealth and Superannuation domain.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain IaC solutions with Terraform and/or Azure Bicep/ARM templates, and build reusable modules and standardised deployment patterns.
• Integrate IaC with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, including automated validation, testing, deployment and configuration management, using YAML and JSON scripts.
• Develop and enforce engineering standards, DevOps policies, IaC standards and cloud best practices, and guide engineering teams in adopting them.
• Design, build, deploy and configure Azure workloads, create solution architectures and design documents, and set up monitoring, logging and observability.
• Work with Azure API Management and Azure Key Vault, and manage Active Directory, RBAC and identity solutions such as SSO, SCIM and SAML.
• Take part in development, review technical designs, and collaborate with architects, delivery squads, BAU teams, principal engineers and project managers.
• Document architectures, design models, IaC modules and reusable patterns, and provide technical leadership so cloud solutions meet architecture, standards and best-practice requirements.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience.
• Preferred: prior experience in Investment, Wealth or Superannuation domains.
• Preferred: experience implementing enterprise-scale IaC solutions and reusable infrastructure modules across multiple Azure environments.
