Clinical Simulation Laboratory Coordinator - Nursing

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and organised Clinical Simulation Laboratory Coordinator to support the delivery of high-quality clinical simulation learning experiences. In this hands‑on role you will oversee day‑to‑day operations of the simulation laboratory, ensuring equipment, manikins and learning spaces are safe, compliant and ready for use.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the day‑to‑day operations of the simulation laboratory.
• Ensure all equipment and manikins are maintained and ready for use.
• Maintain a safe and compliant lab environment in line with regulatory requirements.
• Teach, support and assess students in the clinical simulation laboratory environment.
• Work collaboratively with the Laboratory Assistant to manage inventory, ordering and stock control of lab equipment and consumables.
• Provide training and support to staff and students in the use of lab equipment.
• Supervise lab sessions and provide additional student support where needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent).
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116).
• Relevant experience in nursing, education or simulation/lab coordination.
• Understanding of the VET sector and RTO compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with ANMAC standards and accreditation processes (highly desirable).

• Confidence using technology, including Microsoft Office and LMS platforms.
