Clinical Pharmacist

About the role

The Clinical Pharmacist will work full‑time on‑site in Melbourne, delivering safe and accurate medication dispensing, pharmaceutical care and evidence‑based advice to customers and health professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Review prescriptions for clinical appropriateness and dispense medications accurately.
• Counsel patients on medicine use, side effects and adherence.
• Conduct medication reviews where required.
• Oversee compounding activities and ensure compliance with professional standards.
• Maintain quality and safety across all pharmacy practice procedures.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team and support inventory and stock management.

Required profile

• Demonstrated competence in pharmacy practice and general pharmacy operations.
• Strong foundation in pharmaceutical care with a focus on patient safety and clinical outcomes.
• Current registration as a pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for diverse patient counselling.
• Attention to detail, sound clinical judgment and commitment to ethical, evidence‑based practice.
• Experience working in a busy community or retail pharmacy and familiarity with PBS requirements.
