About the role
The Clinical Nurse will work within the Alcohol and Other Drugs – Hospital Liaison Team, providing specialised nursing care to individuals affected by substance use. This position involves building therapeutic relationships with patients, families, and community groups while applying advanced nursing and midwifery knowledge.
Key responsibilities
- Apply advanced nursing and midwifery knowledge in clinical practice.
- Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with individuals, families, groups, and communities.
- Provide specialist support for patients dealing with alcohol and other drug issues.
Required profile
- Registered nurse at Nurse Level 3.
- Demonstrated ability to work therapeutically with diverse client groups.
- Advanced knowledge of nursing and midwifery practice relevant to substance‑use care.

What we offer
- Remuneration package ranging from $131,100 to $139,950 per year (including base salary $111,174 – $119,984).
