Clinical Coordinator - 1300SMILES Gladstone

About the role

1300SMILES Gladstone, part of the Abano Healthcare network, is looking for a full-time Clinical Coordinator to take the lead on the clinical side of its busy practice. This hands-on role combines clinical knowledge with organisation, leadership and day-to-day coordination, working closely with the Practice Manager and Lead Dentist to keep clinical operations organised, compliant and efficient.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day clinical operations and support the clinical team
• Oversee infection control processes and clinical standards
• Manage clinical stock, materials and inventory
• Maintain records for incoming and outgoing laboratory work
• Coordinate the storage and archiving of dental models
• Complete and monitor daily clinical checklists
• Identify opportunities to improve clinical processes and workflow
• Support the Practice Manager and Lead Dentist with clinical training and development
• Provide guidance and support to the wider clinical team, including dental assisting support when required

Required profile

• Previous dental experience is essential
• Experience in a senior Dental Assisting, Clinical Coordinator or similar role is highly regarded
• Strong understanding of infection control and clinical standards
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
• Strong communication skills and confidence supporting and guiding others
