Client Director

About the role

We are seeking a Client Director to lead senior client relationships and drive integrated media solutions across diverse categories, including regulated verticals. The role combines strategic media planning with team leadership in a fast‑paced agency environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead dedicated client teams, managing multiple direct reports and collaborating with the Client Lead.
• Develop and deliver end‑to‑end media strategy, channel planning, and media ideation.
• Create comprehensive media responses with optimal channel mix and budget allocation.
• Maintain relationships with media partners, especially those with major client partnerships.
• Forecast media billings, oversee monthly invoicing, and identify organic revenue growth opportunities.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of the Australian media marketplace.
• Extensive agency experience in planning, key account management, and best‑practice implementation.
• Proven ability to manage multiple direct reports and act as a trusted advisor to clients.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced environment handling major briefs and reactive requests.

Required skills

• Integrated media planning and channel selection.
• Budget phasing, block planning, and high‑level budget management.
• Collaboration between in‑house and agency teams.
