Client Director – Australia & New Zealand

About the role

The Client Director for Australia & New Zealand will lead the development, maintenance and growth of revenue from owned and prospect accounts across leisure, FIT, groups and MICE segments. Reporting to the Divisional Director of Sales, you will drive strategic account management, business development and team performance to meet and exceed revenue targets for Belmond properties.

Key responsibilities

• Create and execute quarterly sales action plans and annual account management strategies aligned with KPIs.
• Maintain regular contact with property sales teams and regional directors to ensure product knowledge and alignment of sales tactics.
• Qualify leads, prepare quotes, and secure bookings that meet Belmond’s “desirable” business criteria.
• Collaborate with B2B marketing, PCMs and corporate commercial teams to synchronize local and global sales strategies.
• Monitor team financial performance, analyse trends and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Organise sales events, trade show participation and client‑focused educational trips.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience in client management or sales within hospitality or luxury travel.
• Proven record of achieving revenue targets and expanding key accounts.
• Strong analytical skills for commercial performance and market analysis.
• Ability to travel as required and work collaboratively across multiple properties.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems and sales reporting tools (e.g., OSC).
• Experience using business intelligence platforms such as Tableau.
