Cleaning Assistant - Northern Beaches

About the role

Bupa is looking for a full-time Cleaning Assistant for its Seaforth Care Home, located near the Northern Beaches. The home accommodates 76 residents in single ensuite rooms and a range of care units, with a focus on residents' health, lifestyle and well-being. Staff may also be asked to cover shifts at the nearby Willoughby and Mosman locations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain legislated safety, quality and hygiene standards
• Clean patient rooms, bathrooms, communal and living areas
• Complete required documentation and reporting
• Provide ad hoc support to the wider team, including laundry and catering

Required profile

• Cert III Hospitality highly regarded
• Aged care experience highly regarded but not essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
• Flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week
