Cleaner Team Leader - Weekend Shift, Brighton East

About the role

A weekend Cleaner Team Leader is needed at the Brighton East residential aged care facility in Kew, Victoria. The position is full-time and pays $27.97 as a permanent, part-time employee, working 0700-1200 on Saturday and Sunday.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise cleaning teams across daily and periodic tasks
• Allocate staff duties and manage rosters to ensure service coverage
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain high hygiene standards
• Support infection control procedures and specialised cleaning in high-risk areas
• Train, mentor and onboard new and existing staff

Required profile

• Previous experience in a cleaning supervisory role, ideally in healthcare
• Ability to lead, train and motivate a diverse cleaning team
• Experience managing rosters and coordinating daily operations
• Competent in managing inventory and waste reduction practices
• Police check holder, or willingness to obtain one
