Classroom Teacher 2027 (Fixed Term)

About the role

Holy Cross School, Trinity Park, is seeking a Classroom Teacher to join its school community. The position is full time, fixed term, starting 16 January 2027 and running until January 2028. It is a permanent teaching position within the Cairns Diocese. The school was formally opened in 1987, is part of the Northern Beaches Parish of Cairns and uses the Walker Learning approach for primary-aged children.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver effective learning and teaching programs

• Contribute to establishing and maintaining a supportive school environment

Required profile

• Registered or eligible to be registered with the Queensland College of Teachers
• Fully supportive of the ethos of Catholic Education
• Commitment to creating and maintaining a child-safe organisation

• Salary commensurate with experience: $86,600 for graduates to $126,795 for experienced proficient teachers, FTE gross per annum
