About the role
Marsh is seeking a Claims Advocate to join its Claims Advocacy team in Sydney on a 12‑to‑14‑month contract providing parental leave cover. The role is hybrid, requiring at least three days per week in the office.
Key responsibilities
- Support the management of claims matters, including data collection, documentation review, and coordination of key information.
- Work closely with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders to progress claims and provide timely updates.
- Assist senior claims and broking leaders with advocacy work across Cyber, FINPRO, and Construction matters.
- Contribute to policy interpretation, claims strategy, and risk identification.
Required profile
- Legal qualification strongly preferred.
- Experience in an insurance firm, cyber incident management firm, or claims handling role with an insurer or broker.
- Well‑developed understanding of insurance claims management.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities with accuracy and care.
Required skills
- Knowledge of insurance claims processes.
- Familiarity with cyber‑related claims and incident response.
