Civil Supervisor – Night Shift

About the role

This position supports the delivery of critical Defence infrastructure for ACCIONA’s expanding Defence portfolio in Adelaide. The role strengthens Australia’s Defence capability and operates in a highly regulated environment with strict quality, safety and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise civil and structural construction activities in line with program, safety, quality and environmental requirements.
• Coordinate subcontractors, plant and materials to ensure efficient site operations.
• Conduct site inspections and maintain daily reporting and records.
• Ensure compliance with Defence standards, specifications and quality systems.
• Act as a safety ambassador on site, promoting a strong safety culture and full compliance with health and safety requirements.
• Monitor progress and assist with planning and sequencing of works.
• Track site activities and costs, ensuring delivery within the approved budget and identifying variances.
• Contribute to risk management, issue resolution and continuous improvement on site.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a supervisory role across civil and structural scopes on infrastructure or building projects.
• Strong understanding of site‑based construction delivery, quality and safety systems.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Team‑focused mindset with the ability to drive performance on site.
• Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain Baseline Security Clearance.
