Civil Labourer

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is based in New South Wales, Australia. The Civil Labourer will support daily civil construction and mining activities, helping to prepare sites, perform earthworks and assist tradespeople with infrastructure installation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and clean work sites, including loading and unloading materials.
• Carry out basic earthworks, trenching, backfilling and pipe or drain installation.
• Operate or assist with light tools and equipment safely.
• Maintain tidy and orderly work areas throughout the shift.
• Follow directions from supervisors and trades personnel.
• Participate in toolbox talks, adhere to WHS procedures and report hazards or incidents promptly.

Required profile

• Experience in civil construction, mining support or general labour.
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work daily.
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, punctual and committed to long‑term employment.

Required skills

• Use of hand tools and power tools.
• White Card (Construction Induction) or willingness to obtain.
• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport.
• Traffic control or machinery tickets (advantageous).
