Civil Engineer – Water Infrastructure

About the role

WSP is seeking a Civil Engineer to join its Water Utilities team on the Gold Coast, working on local water and wastewater projects that support sustainable growth and resilient communities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver civil designs across the full project lifecycle, ensuring technical precision and creativity.
• Produce and review high‑quality documentation that meets industry standards.
• Lead or support design management for water and wastewater projects and program work packages.
• Collaborate with structural, mechanical and environmental teams on multidisciplinary projects.
• Contribute to proposals and pursuits to secure new projects.

Required profile

• Degree‑qualified Civil Engineer (or equivalent) with 3–7+ years of consultancy experience, preferably in water and wastewater infrastructure design.
• Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and WSAA codes.
• Experience in design management and detailed design delivery.
