Christian Bus Driver (Part-Time)

About the role

Australian Christian College Victoria Ltd (ACC) is a Christian education organisation with 17 schools across 5 states and the largest non-government distance education provider in Australia. Its Benalla campus is a P-12 co-ed Christian school in a period of growth. The school is looking for a Christian Bus Driver to join its team and meet the transport needs of the school. The position is part-time (54 hours per fortnight), on weekdays with split morning and afternoon shifts, and starts as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school on designated routes
• Foster a positive, welcoming atmosphere and build strong relationships with students
• Follow the allocated schedule for prompt and efficient service
• Coordinate transportation for staff and student excursions and camps with colleagues
• Maintain a clean and tidy bus interior
• Obey traffic laws and regulations while driving
• Load and unload students safely at designated stops
• Provide a child-safe environment, follow the school's child safety policies and report any concerns

Required profile

• Genuine person with a passion for working with children
• Valid working with children check for a child-related environment in Victoria
• Valid driver's licence (at least LR, preferably MR)
• Excellent driving record and commitment to passenger safety
• Reliability and punctuality
