Chemist – Geo‑Analytical Lab (Kalgoorlie)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced QC Chemist to join our Geo‑Analytical Lab in Kalgoorlie. The role involves method development, validation, instrument troubleshooting, calibration and delivering accurate analytical reports to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Perform work practices to relevant standards and procedures.
• Provide quality data and meet client‑specified turnaround times.
• Apply quality and continuous improvement processes.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures.
• Process and interpret analytical data.
• Troubleshoot laboratory equipment.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or equivalent qualification.
• Familiarity with mineral processing principles and techniques.
• Computer literacy, preferably with a laboratory LIMS.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
