Chef de Partie - Five-Star Hotel

About the role

Crystalbrook Kingsley, a 130-room five-star hotel in Newcastle, is looking for a Chef de Partie. The role suits someone who loves local produce and enjoys creating extraordinary dishes, and who wants to help drive guest satisfaction through great food and flavour.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver excellent food and flavour experiences that guests enjoy
• Foster a culture of innovation and breaking the norm
• Support junior kitchen staff hands-on
• Work closely with the F&B service team and all hotel departments
• Promote and be accountable for health, safety and WH&S in the kitchens
• Help create seasonal and promotional menus
• Support procurement, production, preparation and presentation of all food

Required profile

• Technical experience in a high-functioning kitchen and a relevant trade qualification
• Demonstrated experience in a contemporary dining setting
• Knowledge of WH&S legislation and health regulations
• Ability to work across a 7-day roster
• Attention to detail, organisation and calm under pressure
